Nigerian Lady Who Was Tagged “For Sale” On Facebook By A Lebanon Man Is Finally Coming Home With 28 Others

A Nigerian woman, Peace Busari, who was put up for sale on Facebook by a Lebanese man, Wael Jerro, is on her way home from Lebanon.

Wael Jerro, a Lebanon national some months ago placed a Nigerian woman, Peace Busaei on Facebook and tagged her as for sale by placing a $1,000 price tag on her for his reasons only known to himself.

This reaction alerted and angered many Nigerians on social media which made majority of them to report the incident to the Nigerian embassy in Lebanon to take action.

From what we have heard, Peace Busari has been rescued and has been  with the inclusion of 28 other Nigerians in Lebanon all coming back to Nigeria.

This report was made it known to the mass via Twitter by Abike Dabiri-Erewa who is the Chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission(NIDCOM).

Not only Busari but also, a Nigerian who was accused of Murder in Lebanon and was therefore prevented from leaving the country has also been rescued and included.
